St. Joseph University Parish’s Social Justice Committee, in collaboration with the Gun Violence Awareness Subcommittee and WNYers Against Gun Violence, invites the community to an important evening of conversation, learning, and hope. As gun violence continues to impact families and neighborhoods across Buffalo and Western New York, this gathering offers an opportunity to better understand how prevention, community engagement, and trauma-informed approaches can make a real difference. We are honored to welcome Adrienne Garr, Executive Director of the City of Buffalo’s Office of Gun Violence Prevention, who will share insights into the city’s new efforts to address the root causes of gun violence and strengthen pathways toward safer, more resilient communities.
