Celebrate the Childlike Wonder of Christmas with Buffalo’s Festival Chorus at Christmas is for Children Concert on December 3
Celebrate the childlike wonder of the Christmas season with the Festival Chorus at our upcoming concert entitled Christmas is for Children on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 4:00pm at the granSS. Peter & Paul RC Church located at 5480 Main Street in the village of Williamsville.
The concert will look at Christmas through the eyes of a child. From the touching story of “Yes, Virginia,” a classic tale of a young girl who wrote the Chicago Sun asking if there really is a Santa Claus, to the Christ child in Dan Forrest’s “O Little Town of Bethlehem” featuring Rachel Ward on soprano saxophone, you will certainly leave filled with childlike wonder and joy.
“The theme will really come alive when the children of the Depew Middle School’s Select Choir, directed by Mr. Mason Battle, join us on several pieces,” stated director, Heather Lovelace. “Their pure voices, filled with hope and excitement are contagious. We are so excited to have these special guests with us!” A quartet from the Friends of Harmony will also join in the fun, adding popular Christmas tunes and, of course, a sing along!
