Town Hall Meetings

My Dear Sisters and Brothers,

You probably know by now that the Diocese of Buffalo is undergoing a major restructuring of all of its parishes.  This process is called The Road to Renewal.  You may have heard through the media or from family members or friends in other parishes something about what this process will entail.  There is a lot of talk out there.  Some of it is accurate and some is not.

In order for you to be informed correctly as to how and when this will impact us here at St. Joseph University Parish, we have scheduled a series of Town Meetings.  There will eighteen meetings, beginning in the middle of October and continuing until the first week of December.  There will be two meetings each week.  We would really appreciate it, if you could make the effort to attend just one of these meetings.  You can attend any meeting that fits your schedule, and reservations are not needed.

Enclosed is a schedule for the meetings along with an agenda of what will be covered.  We will try to keep these meetings to one hour in length, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.  Oftentimes change is difficult, but if we are proactive and take ownership of this process we can help to determine the future of our parish and of the Family of Campus Ministry for the Diocese of Buffalo.
