St. Joseph University Parish is a Catholic community that fosters an atmosphere of welcome to all. Attentive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and nourished by vibrant liturgy, we are committed to providing a home and a haven to all who come to us, both as visitors or as permanent members of our community.

Our community is rich in diversity: racially, ethnically, economically, and in terms of age and life style. Our mantra: “All are welcome” is more than a slogan. It is our identity.

With a unique mission of Campus Ministry to the South Campus of the University at Buffalo, we are especially committed to supporting students, faculty and administration, as well as the many young families that have made Buffalo their home.

We have a strong dedication to the arts, providing excellent liturgical music, performance space for local and touring groups, and support for artists of many disciplines, as well as a commitment to the spirituality of creativity.

Last, but certainly not least, we are deeply committed to social justice from the local to the global level. We seek to be a strong voice for the voiceless, especially the poor and vulnerable in our city and in society at large.

When you come through our doors, to visit or to stay, please let us know you’re here. We want to meet you and let you know that you truly are welcome!
