We are thrilled to announce that Father Daniel Serbicki will be joining us next week as our new Pastor. As we prepare to welcome him, we are reminded of our parish principle: “Welcome All.” In the spirit of this warm and inclusive motto, let us extend our heartfelt hospitality to Father Dan and celebrate the remarkable achievements he brings to our community.
Father Dan comes to us with an impressive background and a deep commitment to his pastoral calling. His leadership at Family #13, Fields of Grace, where he oversaw four parishes, nine worship sites, and an elementary school, has been exemplary. His efforts brought unity and growth to this diverse community. With 13 years of experience as an ordained priest, Father Dan has demonstrated unwavering dedication to his ministry, touching countless lives through his compassionate service.
In addition to his parish work, Father Dan has valuable experience in campus ministry, having served as a parochial vicar in Allegany County, specifically at Alfred State. There, he provided spiritual guidance and support to the campus community, showcasing his ability to connect with and inspire young adults. His tenure has been marked by the introduction of innovative programs and initiatives that have enhanced the spiritual and communal life of his previous parishes. His visionary approach has fostered growth and engagement within the communities he has served.
Father Dan is excited and eager to begin his ministry within our parish. He looks forward to collaborating with our community, building on the strong foundation laid by our previous leaders, and guiding us toward a bright and spiritually enriching future.
Let us come together to welcome Father Dan with open hearts and open arms, reflecting the true essence of our parish. We are confident that his presence will bring new energy and blessings to St. Joseph University Parish, UB Newman Center, and Buffalo State Newman Center.
